ASSIGNMENT:
For the final project we will be composing a digital journal that includes seven different kinds of responses that pertain to the novel. These journals will help you analyze the novel’s characters and their motives as we read this incredible piece. Here are your requirements:
o 10 Digital Journal Entries (1 of each kind, 3 of your choice)
o 10 Discussion Responses on wiki
o EXTRA CREDIT for a legit debate on the discussion threads
We will be housing the Digital Journal on a wikispace; each student will have their own page and other students will be able to view them and respond on the discussion tab. Here is the list of Journal Options; remember YOU MUST DO EACH ONCE and then you can choose your favorite three for the remainder of the responses. Journal Options:
1. Extended response to the section from that character’s point of view (10+ sentences INCLUDE character picture)
2. Diary entry response to the section from another character’s point of view (10+ sentences INCLUDE character picture)
3. Newspaper article expressing an outside opinion of the section (Using Pages)
4. Addie’s reaction to the section (20+ sentences INCLUDE character picture)
5. Visual depiction/collage of the section with an explanation of the image (Wordle, sumopaint, glogster)
6. Poem written by that character or a poem found on the Library Database that will summarize his/her section.
7. William Faulkner’s “voice” summarizing what happened in the section (blabberize)
